Frequently Asked Questions

How does Field's modular design work?

Field is built on our universal modular system: interchangeable modules click together easily, so you can choose the size and shape that fits your space and add sections later. Chaise and L-shaped configurations are reversible, so you can set them up on either side and switch later.

What fabrics and leg finishes are available?

Field comes in stain-resistant performance fabrics or top-grain leather. Legs come in Walnut or Oak wood, or Black metal.

Can Field work as a sleeper?

Yes, with the Field Sleep Kit: a memory foam topper, custom sheet set, quilted blanket, pillow and pillowcase, and an eye mask in a storage bag. It fits over any three Field seat modules in a row, so larger sectionals can sleep two.

Can I add an ottoman or throw pillows?

Yes. Every Field configuration includes the frame, cushions and legs, and you can add an ottoman, pillows or the Field Sleep Kit from the Upgrades section above the Add to Cart button.

Are replacement parts available?

Yes, replacement parts are available for purchase. Contact us at support@shadesoflight.live or visit a showroom for help.

Is Field a good fit for homes with pets and kids?

Field's performance fabric is stain-resistant and PFAS-free, and all fabric is Oeko-Tex certified. Cushions are CertiPUR-US certified, on a precision-milled wood frame with steel hardware. You can also add Mulberry protection, which covers stains and spills, accidental rips and tears, and more.
